Thing is, if you’re going to have a building that looks like it’s wrapped in fondant, why not at least make the plantings interesting? I can see some gorgeous climbing vines for those naked posts, some lovely lush flowering shrubbery in that little hilly nook, and maybe some bird of paradise or tall exotics along the pathway in the foreground. Otherwise it just looks like a doctor’s office.

Drought! We’ve had a few years of it now… A lot of people are converting to sustainable plantings, but it takes a while.
