  1. What a fantastically atmospheric shot the last image is.Wonderful things can now be done with CGI,but I still love this sort of thing.Its not hard to see that this sort of film will never really die in the sense that this is a classic for all time.

  2. A film whose sets had that same burnished mystery for me was the 1939 version of Hound of The Baskervilles where the oudoor scenes depicting the dark and threatening moor achieve a dreamlike intensity that still sends a shudder down my spine.I do not think CGI would have the same effect.
