Dearest V
And my goodness, didn’t she. I lived near a public house that once had a huge original poster for Ms Stanwyck in ‘Cattle Queen of Montana”, I’ve never seen it, but I’m sure it must be epic… especially given her co-star!

There’s a two volume, definitive biography of her out (at least the first volume). Apparently she was very shy and very private, and transformed for the screen.
Despite the fact that there are some beautiful women on today’s screen I still think that she is extra lovely in this picture. So if she teaching I would tempted to join.Do you think it might be night class?
She’s one of my all-time faves. She could do it all – comedy, pathos, suspense.
I’ve been trying to think of my fave B. Stanwyck role and it’s impossible to choose just one.
You’re right, but I really LOVED her in comedies.
