I thought YOU were a coffee sipper?I ADORE TOAST TOO…….with plenty of STRAWBERRY JAM or FIG JAM.
But I know I should stay away………….especially now I am GLUTEN FREE not by my choice!So, my QUALITY of BREAD Is very SO~SO.If I do indulge it’s on the weekend…….NO BUTTER just JAM!

Ah! My Contessa (well, she is not mine but I do tend to call her that more in the sense of “mia Contessa”) is here! Perfect. Then we can skip the tea or coffee and I will make up some Side-Cars. 😉
When I moved over to Paris, I found a bright and shiny toaster in the kitchen of our empty new apartment. “I know how you like toast,” he explained…
Heavenly toast… Toast topped with a piece of dark chocolate and a Side-Car… Perfect! He who makes the toast is blessed in my eyes 😉 , as is La Contessa.

It is raining buckets here and as the noon hour approaches I am contemplating lunch…and more toast 😉 .
Then a stroll under the umbrella as my library books are due, and splashing through puddles is something of a novelty for me these days.
